StructureBot PBC, is a tech for good Public Benefit Corporation focused on improving outcomes in affordable/attainable housing. We develop and market 3D Construction Systems bringing together advanced robotics, software, and materials. Our systems enable developers to produce housing and other structures faster, safer, and more economically.
I'm a serial entrepreneur and technologist working on the most exciting venture of my career.

Every business has some sort of catalyst for getting started, or some inspiration. What was your "ah ha" moment?

After working on homelessness issues and on the Housing Domain of IIAC, it came to me that 3D printing could be a successful solution to producing resilient housing faster and at lower price points.
My partner and I were introduced as we were working on similar projects. We joined forces and are making significant progress.

With a million business ideas out there, what makes your business unique?

We are applying advanced robotics and software to construction to achieve better outcomes from foundation to ceiling line.

Launching a business is hard. Do you have a team, or a people that have helped you get to this point? And, can you share a little bit about that?

My partner and I are blessed to have a world-class Board of Advisors who provide support on many important topics.

People love an inside scoop. What is something most people might not know about you or your company?

My partner and I have built houses in Mexico that were donated to families.

Every business hits that wall, or hurdle. What is a major hurdle your business is facing? And how can our readers help, or get involved?

We are based in way south Denver, AKA, Colorado Springs!
We are starting a fund raise in January of 2023 and would like to meet Angels and others. We are qualified by OEDIT to provide a 25% ITC for Colorado investors.
We are seeking manufacturing space locally.
We are looking to add to the team.
We would like to meet developers/builders who are the earliest adopters of new technology.

Starting and running a business is a major learning experience. Up until this point, what is the biggest lesson you have learned, personally, about running your business and the field you are in?

Finding qualified investors in the construction tech space is hard!

For our readers first learning about your business, could you share three key take away's that you believe our readers should know about you, your business or your product/solution?

1) We working on printing housing wall systems and other structures to provide proof that our technology performs exceedingly well.

For that person learning about your business, why would they sign up for, or use your company or solution?

We offer a robust customizable system to meet your needs. We team with you to ensure your success using the system.

Are you currently seeking funding, co-founders or building out your team? If so, how can our readers help out?

We will start a fundraise round in January, 2023, $500K to accredited Reg D investors.
We are looking to build up our team in a variety of areas.

ABOUT TECH ALLEY STARTUP STORIES

The start up ecosystem is in a constant state of re-invention. Startups are born from inspiration unique to the many founders and circumstances that led to their "ah ha" moment. Too often, these stories are buried in an about section, forgotten, or never shared, due to the natural churn of the startup ecosystem.

Tech Alley's to "strengthen communities by bringing people together, fostering a creative class, and creating an inclusive, diverse, and innovative technology and startup culture."

One of the best ways to accomplish this, is to simply tell the stories of the founders that make up this community.

Tech Alley "Startup Stories" would like to share the story of as many startups as possible.

Because every startup has a story.

And we want to share yours.
