cultural ambassadors

We can't talk about diversity and not go into the neighborhoods where minority groups already are.

My mother's maiden name is Gonzalez. My Nana and Tata did not learn to speak English in their life-time. Which made it difficult for them to attend English speaking events.

And, unfortunately, it also limited their access to resources.

I would like your help changing that.

what's a cultural ambassador?

Our Tech Alley Cultural Ambassadors are leaders in their community, that have discovered the value of the tech ecosystem, and are willing to go back into their community to host events and provide resources at events and locations that their community already frequents.

  • Flea Markets

  • Swap Meets

  • Hooka Lounges

  • Basketball Courts

  • Parks

  • Churches

  • Etc.

People that understand that if their people had resources, their entire community would be lifted up.

what's involved?

As a Cultural Ambassador, we would work together to create and support events within your community, which would either provide education, resources and/or networking opportunities.

Each community behaves differently. We are not seeking to change how people naturally interact within their communities. We are simply seeking to create "entry points" where people are already meeting within their communities, so that entrepreneurs and business people are free to access information and resources within the greater ecosystem.

As an Cultural Ambassador, you would be the conduit between communities.

what's in it for you?

As an Cultural Ambassador, you will have the ability to reach out to influential people from within your community, to provide access to the greater ecosystem.

Think of the most influential person within your community...

How could you help them make a difference?

...Now, what if you could be the person to introduce them to investors, city, state or national resources, that could impact and change your local community?

The ability to make that call, and set up an introduction, or speaking opportunity for a thought leader in your space, is a great networking position to be in.

Now, think about the impact that persons words may have on a startup, founder, local business owner or entrepreneur in your space...

By you simply having a passion for the success of your community, your work may change the life and livelihood of a person that lives in your community.

That's a GREAT reason why you should be a Tech Alley Cultural Ambassador!
